csi sure has it's shortcomings (hurray death penalty, it's effect on juries etc.) but with it's science focus i'd still rate it and it's kin higher than it's "precedessor" as copycat target: the x-files.

despite it being a cornerstone of my work i've never been much of a fan of the Bourne-Again SHell (bash). Inconsistent and quirky ... i'm always on the lookout for a more elegantreplacement. fish is probably not quite it but seems worth to keep an eye on.
